The major benefits in joining Guildford Cricket Club for non-playing members is the ability to come to the club at any time, join those upstairs in the Clubhouse, enjoy a drink or two at the bar, watch the cricket from the balcony (or anywhere round the grounds), receive email updates of events that take place from time to time, park within our car park (which sometimes becomes quite full!). Benefit from free entry to the the Guildford Cricket Festival – details on the Home Page. Also, become art of our growing membership; contribute if you wish with suggestions or a more active role. We are always looking for further inspiration and positive suggestions!
Steve, our Bar Manager will also organise any event that you may wish to hold within the Clubhouse so long as it does not clash with either a cricket match or another already pre-booked event.
However, anyone can come along to watch a match, member or not. Only members are allowed up into the club house. Match details are on our web site – for men, ladies and juniors
Attendance to watch most matches is free of charge. Exceptions to this are during the annual Surrey Cricket Festival (this year 8th – 12th August).
Go onto the internet and type http://www.guildfordcc.com/home/ Then look on the MENS fixture tab or LADIES fixture tab or JUNIOR fixture tab. All the info should be there.
If you think you might want a game of cricket then find Tim, our Cricket Director or email me (secretary@guildfordcc.com). Tim will guide you to the most appropriate team manager. Just in case you are wondering we have a number cricket teams from our 1st XI through to our 4th XI and many junior teams as well – catering for all age groups for men and women.
