Guildford Cricket Club has attained Clubmark Accreditation

Guildford Cricket Club has now completed the ECB and Sport England accreditation process and now holds the full “Clubmark” status.

“This confirms that our junior development programme and club infrastructure meets the benchmarks for a high quality community cricket club” reports Hon. Secretary Mike Templeman, who led this project. “We had to present evidence and demonstrate implementation of best practice in club management, including the area of safeguarding children. We also had to produce a Club Development Plan.”

Neil Snowball (Club Chairman) added: “Mike has done a fantastic job, working over many months to secure Clubmark for us. He has had great support from Sharon Eyers, the Surrey Cricket Development Manager for West Surrey. Achieving Clubmark status is an important milestone.”
