8th - 12th August 2010  Surrey v Sussex

An excellent turn out for the one day Sunday match. A good and spirited match followed for the subsequent four days.

GUILDFORD CRICKET CLUB

We again ran our popular Summer Holiday Cricket Camp for boys and girls at Guildford Cricket Club. 

The dates were in July. Minimum age is 8 years, maximum is 15. 

JUNIOR MEMBERSHIP 2010

The Guildford Beer Festival
At Guildford Cricket Club
 

The inaugural Guildford Beer Festival took place on 13/14 August and was a great success.  The event was opened by the Mayor of Guildford.  Those attending voted Dorking Brewery’s Red India Ale ABV 5.0% as “Best Beer of the Festival”, with Hogs back Brewery kindly donating a trophy.  The Beer List is attached for information, with the focus being on local and micro breweries from the area.

Guildford Cricket Club hopes to repeat the event in 2011.  The date will be announced once the county cricket schedule for next season is known in early November.

Thanks to all those who attended, to the organising Committee and those who helped at the Festival.
